My stream has cut off, annoyingly.

Is Toto sharing Lauda's opinion and voicing it or is he staying quiet? Always read him as a bit of a Rosberg bummer.

Boo's, good old British travellers I'm sure

I hate it when the drivers get told what to say I know Lewis has been in trouble before with post race interviews, but I wanted to see the real him there and not listen to the bullshit thats been fed to him.

Sod all of that Kimi wasn't far off a podium finish

Only watched it from lap8, missed the coming together so can't comment. Lauda cracks me up, was visibly agitated when Ted asked him after the race then says what time (exactly) they are having a meeting

Crofty asking why Nico didn't apologise to lewis/the team on the podium. Valid question.

Eddie Jordan trying to be the peacemaker was rather laughable. Fuck off you oxfam shirt wearing prat.

Great to see Nico extending his lead with some ruthless manoeuvres. He is fast becoming a LEGEND.

Just seen it. I'm by no means a Hamilton fan so no tinted glasses here but that is clearly 100% a Nico fault collision. BUT bit more of a racing incident than I thought it was going to be. Dickish manoeuvre and poor show of talent. However; unlucky of Lewis to have such a puncture! Similar collision at the end with Alonso who lost a lot more wing when he hit Vettle or Button (can't remember which) and there was no damage. Does seem LH has some pretty poor luck.

So I think everyone is being a tad harsh to Nico, as he didn't try and take him out, just had a crap attempt to overtake him. The resulting damage was very harsh, but it's racing. Shit happens!

Expect team orders at Mercedes from Monza.

Also on a different subject, wtf is it with the FIA and their constant weird on/off behaviour with track limits and penalties?! Seems some tracks they don't give a shit the. All of a sudden it's hot topic and the penalties are hounded out instantly.

Magnussen has been given a 20 second penalty for an incident with Alonso, dropping him down to 12th.

Fuck off.

I'm all caught up now, BBC quite quick to update their site with the clips.

Good Interview from Lewis, and I really didn't expect such an open display of disapointment from Toto. It'll all just be words, and can't change the 29(?) point deficit - but the moral support will help Lewis within the team, he responds so well to it and depends on it.

I wonder if the Merc board have suggested concern about not being able to renew Lewis. Driving performances aside, he's a LOT more valuable than Nico is for Mercedes marketing.

Will Buxton @willbuxton I don't have the exact quotes, but Lewis just told the print press that Nico admitted in debrief he deliberately hit him to prove a point.

The implications of this are quite serious, imo.

Either:

a) Hamilton was misquoted (wouldn't be the first time), Lewis/team re-clarify - all is well.
b) Lewis misquoted Nico, team possibly a bit pissed off or Lewis is thrown under the bus for lying.
c) All quotes are accurate, and Nico should be looked at by the FIA.

It'd be TV gold if Merc categorically made Hamilton the number 1 driver via team orders....but we all know that will never happen. I have a feeling that this shit will just get worse and worse as the season continues (which isn't such a bad thing for the neutral)
