Been a member on here since late last year now and though I might as well post a thread up.
To start I passed my test early October, and the old age of 17, didn't spend to long looking for my first car, looked at only 3 cars before I bought mine. My cousin was off to uni and was looking to sell his corsa b 1.0L low genuine mileage, un modified until he had it, and his modifications consisted of some fantastic looking lexus lights some lovely black wheel trims on 13inch steels, some great big dub badges on the side and some stickers in the rear window

When I first had it...

Only being 17, money wasn't falling off the trees, so my only plans at the time were a new exhaust, spoiler, and some alloys to replace cool trims

Sourced a spoiler pretty quickly, and exhaust arrived shortly after, Left the spoiler in the capable hands of ArdenAndy as quite frankly I did not have a clue! Would like to take the chance to say, my car would be sh** if it wasn't for andys help!

While that was a working progress, also set Andy onto the exhaust..

haven't got any pictures of after the exhaust was fitted, however I was less than happy with the bend in the pipe which left the exhaust pointing at the floor!
But Papa Steve (Andy's Dad) had spent the week getting my spoiler sprayed, colour match was great and off we went to get a few more photos..

Comments very welcome

Been through so many sets of alloys since then! half of them didn't even make it on the car, but next were slightly bigger...

had a torrid time on these, so looked to swap them for some Vauxhall alloys, but ended up selling instead

After selling the team dynamics, it was time to search for some Vauxhall alloys, first to the mark were these...

Some gloss white cesaros, good tyres, bargain had to have them, and ruin the bath cleaning all the grime off them...

some photos with them on...

Andy being a pleb!

Not too sure about andy, but I never really had plans to lower the car as I needed it to be practical, however, after the first horseshoe pass meet, it was obvious I couldn't carry on at standard height!

so after the arrival of my coilovers, we got a nice sunny day to get the car lowered, we wernt sure exactly how the set up was meant to be, so we tried and failed for around 3 hours until it got dark! and then finished finally when we were using torches to see what we were doing!

Also got some new alloys for the occasion, managed to find some 15" softstars local and snapped them up for cheap, was happy with finding 15's as the 16's I previously handled like crap!

Got a few pictures of the car on the floor with the new alloys...

I was very happy with the outcome! and still stayed practical

After that it was time for a fresh interior as mine was little tired, managed to grab an old sport interior which had no wear of any kind! thought it matched with the colour of the car very well!

andy on the case again haha!

This is practically how Andy drives anyways!

next on the purchase list was a gsi front bumper, think its polar sea blue? not sure though..

Then decided to test my lack of spraying skills....

Turned out pretty well in my opinion...

so I felt confident enough to have a crack at spraying the bumper myself as I didn't have much to do as I was off from college... the process...

Red Plastic Primer...

Sprayed

Finished...

Just for image sake...

Bumper still not fitted as other things came first... the weather was really hindering any serious progress, some pictures in the snow...
