Anything bad about it from someone living with it day to day?

Had a look at them today, they are undoubtedly massive but I've almost convinced myself I can deal with it.

Can get one for what the 4S is worth but swithering.

It's too big and the UI is SHITE.

I'm seriously thinking of upgrading to a 4S next month

I'd probably just stick vanilla android on it.

It's mainly because I was geared up for buying a 5. 4S would be a downgrade imo, and iOS is completely boring.

That's all I do on mine really, that's why I'm thinking a proper screen might outweigh it not being quite as well put together as an iPhone.

Umm I like the phone nice and small though. How much you want for the 4s?

Money for your phone are giving me £300 for it. Seem to be loads of BNIB galaxy's on gumtree for that, quite a bit more expensive on ebay.

Only issue is if I get one and don't like it. Stupid apple

That's my other concern. I'll want another phone next year, would be nice to get some money back for whatever I have at the time. 4S will probably still be worth more than an S3 at that point.

Bollocks to it, might just run this phone into the ground and wait for someone to give me a broken 4

If all you do is call/text and email why do you need a 4.8in screen? The only advantage of having to lump that around in your pocket all day is if you actually get the benefit of the bigger screen for watching movies , doing a lot of browsing etc.

Sorry, my mistake, I'd read that as web. Call, text, web.

I also considered how often I have it in my pocket, while sitting in the car between places it's out of my pocket.

Still is massive though.

Why is everyone aganst large phones. Personally I think it's better now with what technology is coming in for them. One of my friends has an S3, (come from iPhone) and she said she wouldn't go back.

Must have a dud then, my battery lasted 48 hrs with moderate use. Normally come home from work (at 9.30 pm so about 12 hours off charge) with 50-70% battery left with decent use. I usually put a custom rom on them but the samsung ui is perfect. Best phone out by a long shot, you get used to the size right away, if i use my iphone the screen seems tiny now. Id recommend it to anyone.

I read the techradar(maybe crunch) review there and the battery lasted longer than the 4S on their tests, not 2 days though.

Its true, what have I got to gain? My ipad 2 battery lasts on average 3 weeks (after 2 you get a message telling you it hasnt been backed up or plugged in for 2 weeks) I always run the battery down to 0 then charge to 100 works for me.
