Did a bit more on the headlight duct over the weekend and a bit tonight, coming along really well, should hopefully look the nuts on the car..

A lot of rubbing down on the fibreglass to get the shape..(which took bloody ages)!!

Then it was time to get some filler in there..

Let that go off over night and got back to it Sunday morn, again along time sanding and shaping..

Once that was done, there were a few little pin holes and flat spots so added a bit of filler to them areas..

Got that flattened off and then started to lower the grades of paper I was using, gave it a good wet sand to get it really nice and smooth, then it was time for a bit of primer..

There are still a few very small imperfections but there easier to see now its got a coat of primer on so will carry on tomoz, hope to get it finished by the end of the week

Wat ya think?

Yeh mate a cold feed, with or without an air box it should work well

I run 90mm trumpets so will struggle to get an air box in there, I am going to remove the heater matrix at the weekend so as I can remove pollen filter and all the plastic shit, that way I might have a chance of fitting one. Will work either way tho..

carnt rember how long the trupits on mine arebut i have removed the pollen filter and the plastic shit but still have the heaters and they are still made hot and its a bit better for cooling the engine down to lol and it might be worth making the hole bigger in the light so it will get some propper cold air in

I'm just gonna loose the matrix all together tbh mate, it hardly works and makes the flock lift on the dash so I'm just gonna get a little kit car heater for the windscreen, thinking of a chopped dash as well so will tidy it all up a bit.

Iv got a decent rad in there and twin fans so temps are fine tbh.

Yeh perhaps it could do with being bigger but I don't think the shape would come out quite the same, the way it is should be really aerodynamic and should put plenty of nice cold air through

Nice progress, I do miss my old one, just for shear fun.

Next time you need to get rid of rust, use this stuff.

http://www.agriemach.com/c94/surface-care-rust-prevention/p1062-bilt-hamber-deox-c-rust-remover-powder-1kg.html

It's 100x's better than vineger. I brought mine direct for Bilt Hamber.

Just got back from a little road trip to relentless performance in Cambridge to collect some bits for the motor..

Whooop whoop my ball joints

There a lovely bit of kit, fully dismountable very well made and coated in a lovely chemical black, am very happy so thanks to James at relentless for them..

And these..

87mm oversized block freshly honed (cheers ash) and arp stud and bolt kit.

Am gonna start collecting bits over the next couple of months to build me a decent spec engine over the winter months.

Anyone got a decent early crank for sale??
