Got cracking after work once I picked up my socket from Halfords..

Subframe off...

Once I had decent access to the bolt hole I fitted the bush and tightened it up, got cracking with refitting the subframe, at this point I glanced in my box of bits and noticed a nice new bush...I had fitted the old bush to it

So back off it came, swapped the bush over with the new one and started refitting the subframe, got hungry at this point so finished for tonight

I'm not sure about debadging it, quite like the badges tbh!

As for what's next...

Hoping to get the dent man on it in the next few weeks, other than that wouldn't mind a nice headunit and a remap but probably done most of my spending on it for this year.

Plan on getting it really clean in the next few weeks so it's super shiny in the sun (if we get any!)

Just dropped the car off with my mate who is taking it to work for the dent guy to look at tomorrow.

Fingers crossed it'll come back looking a little cleaner

Dent man did the car today, took out the following...

9 on passenger door
2 on passenger quarter
1 on drivers quarter
1 on drivers door

Actually sounds worse than it looked tbh but the ones on the quarters where right on the swage line so where really noticeable imo

All done for £60 so not bad!

9 on the passenger door? jesus christ i have 1 from some prick opening their door onto mine, but it's not noticeable to normal people.

still, annoys me how people think it's acceptable to open their door onto other cars.

Not a very interesting update and no pictures but machine polished front and rear lights this evening.

Front's are now nice and clear and the rear's look a lot better

Edit - forgot I took this, no more dents now (not that you could see them anyway )

Spent quite a lot on this recently so was time for some cheap fix ups

My head unit had a fair amount of damage on the buttons so it looked very tatty, came across a very tidy one for £10 so snapped it up!

Swapped the faces over today and looks much fresher now (couldn't just swap the stereo as had no code for the new one).

Old face..

New one

Been prepping for GTi International today as it's next weekend!

First off was a trip to Demon Thieves to get the tracking done..

Then I got home and washed / waxed / glossed the car.

Interior is also done, plan for tomorrow is to give the bay a once over

Do you drive with your passenger seat so far back? My seats have to both be in the same position for some weird ocd reason.
