Yes great mod.

I just saw one in red with a big black spoiler on the black. Is that the QS one? It looked fantastic.

Yeah, that's the QS / V6 spoiler, contemplated it but it's expensive and I don't mind the smaller one.

Might be something for the future though.

Removed the front wishbones today to pass on to my mate to press my new bushes in to them, fingers crossed they will stop knocking then.

Sadly means my car will be like this for the next few days...



But on the plus side I will be driving this until mine is done

Re-fitted the lower arms today with the bushes fitted.

Adjusted the coilovers and fitted the new wheels, I'm 85% loving it and 15% thinking I know I want 19% bonze BLQ's or LM's with a gold centre (sensing a pattern)

Hopefully wash and get some pics tomorrow

Gave the car a clean and took a few pics! Sadly the sun is no where to be seen so it looks a bit dull

I think the wheels will split opinions, I still can't say I'm 100% on them but they are growing on me more and more.

That looks stunning. Spaced out rears would look better but not practical i shouldnt imagine.

Already running a 20mm spacer, would be nice to have them a few more mil out though I agree!

There is still a knock from the front so the offside coilover will be coming off this weekend for the top mount to be replaced, could do with coming off anyway as the spring platform is stuck so I can't lower it anymore until I un-stick it

Going to do the ARB bushes and hopefully that will see the front nice and quiet.

The rear arm bushes could do with being done but it's a pricey job and I don't have the tool required to do it myself

Everytime I look at them I like them more now

Just need to solve this pesky knocking so it doesn't sound like an old rat when I'm driving it!

Few more fix up bits done and a few still to do!

Fitted all new bolts to the back end suspension arms as they have been on and off a few times and being stretch bolts I couldn't get them to hold tight again, new bolts all torqued up and it's rattle free

Tracked my front end knock down to the ARB bushes, I have new ones but need to find time to get them fitted, pain in the ass fiddly job but will make all the difference. Along with this I need to replace my inner cv boot, got the kit just need the time and willingness to do it as it's a messy job

Last weekend my indicators stopped working, had the same fault on my S3 and knew the problem lay with the hazard switch, replaced the part last time but repaired mine this time..



After spending a few weeks messing with centre caps and trying to find a set that looked well on the car I ended up with some unoriginal ones....



Car is really needing a good clean now, covered in crap and dust but the weather isn't helping.

still looks great love the finish of the wheels in the close up shot of the centre cap!

i don't envy you cleaning them though. just took me 30 minutes to clean the other halfs multispokes

Well it all went very wrong today

Started off by giving my wheels a coat of wax and refitting the rear, they look spot on now with the correct centre caps.

Then I thought as it was a nice day I would crack on with the ARB bushes, done the side which is the most awkward, that took about 20 minutes, then on to the 'easy' side.... as I was leavering the bracket back on I think I have caught the thread for the bolt so that won't go in now At this point came to the conclusion I was going to have to drop the subframe, not a job I fancied but not much choice.

All ready to drop now but snapped my 21mm socket on the last bolt, definetley pulled a few muscles as the bolts where tights as hell.

Ended the day with the car still on axle stands and a load of work in the week I can't be assed with - awesome

Story of my life that

Only serviceable job left to do on my car is the fuel filter and I'm avoiding it as I know I'll fuck it up and I'm scared it's sitting in my passenger footwell laughing at me every time I use the car
