car is now fixed my lovely dad replaced the leaking expansion tank with the nice new one. not before getting a mouthful/eyeful of coolant

i also clayed, polished and waxed the car last weekend using bilt hamber clay/meguiars ultimate compound polish/collinite 476s, looks lovely now, apart from the wheels which i will be spraying during my holiday.

ordering a few odds and sods now as the missing screws are driving me mad

Black wheels dont suit that car at all imo, would have to be silver for me.

Glad you got the coolant issue sorted

it does look good, but i just think it looks a bit boring silver and i hate silver wheels as they get dirty with brake dust so quickly.

Body coloured ones look good in the shop above.

The wheels lose to much detail when there black.

used the nic barnes special on my seats today. can't believe how much crap came off them they are a nice matt finish now, whereas before they were shiny.

toothbrush was essential.

shiny:

cleaned:

definitely recommend it. cost me less than a tenner for both the cleaner and conditioner.

Agreed. The m sport seats have bigger bolsters and also shoulder support. Would like red leather interior but its rare to see it being sold.

Its quite comical when you go round corners quickly, the car grips like mad but you fly out of the seat.

They really are flat seats. Will the E46 seats go straight in because there should be plenty of sport seats for sale.

one of the pipes coming off the expansion tank came off last night. only noticed this morning when i finished work and there was a massive puddle under the car.

i wasn't going to fix it at 6:30 in the morning with no tools so had to drive 10 miles home with possibly no coolant.

hope it hasn't done any damage.

i hate cars.
