Need to change that rule for next season in order to preserve the beauty of F1. Or make stepped noses illegal. They offend my eyes.

That's just the Friday though, I'd like to go for the race really

A whole weekend ticket for the BTCC is £28.80 That's much more acceptable.

Anyone watched Sky's F1 channel yet? It's up on the planner and they are running previews of features. As much as I resented Sky's initial takeover their offerings look amazing. Hints of historic 60s grand prixs, F1 legends stories, time lapse videos of Williams' 2012 car being built etc. Worth a watch if you have a spare half hour or so! I can't wait now

I'm not paying £30 to watch it at home bloody virgin. Trying to work out a cheaper way of doing it. Will go to weather spoons and have a breakfast in the McLaren t shirt Dave posted.

You should be able to get a decent live stream, Sky F1 or Speed, on something like Justin.tv; certainly that's what i'm hoping for

Has anyone who is not paying for sky found a Internet source for the good races sky has.

Think I will have get another box and tune in to austrian tv

While searching mega factories the another week there was a three parter all about for developing the ford f1 turbo engine is a bit 1980's but still interesting

HRT and Marussia launched their cars today and both look a bit of a fail, although Marussia have yet to pass all of the crash tests


And i think i've found my solution to streaming the F1; no Sky F1 feed but have SS1 HD, Speed (SD unfortunately) and RTL HD. Streams appear to be decent so far and as it isn't P2P, like sopcast, and the streams (appear) to be via CDN's i'm hoping they'll hold out during race weekends.

Hammer needs to come down on HRT/Marussia this year imo. No fucking about with the 107% rule either, get some disqualifications rolling.

Caterham are showing that they may have some promise, building a car on time and showing up to testing is a good start.

If anyone is struggling to watch F1 then have a go with rtmpGUI - >HERE< (download the rar file and watch the video).

F1 channel and SS1 are both listed, feeds seem ok although i do have a little 'stuttering' once in a while but so far this is the best live solution i've found with stumping up cash.

Yeah i can't get the F1 channel either but it's listed which is a start. Although it isn't as perfect as i first thought, a fair few of the SS/ESPN streams drop-out (i've found the HD channels nie impossible to watch), but it's still better than Sopcast and the likes.

Bragging a Sky Go pass from a mate is still the better bet though.....
