My living room setup. Samsung plasma, sky, ps4, htpc, slingbox, avr & speakers.

Recently purchased harmony ultimate from Amazon lightning deal.

Anyone interested in the DIY ambilight here's an old vid https://youtu.be/4OdLAotZ8V0
It's an adalight setup. I think I'll get more benefit when we get in to the new place and tv is against the wall.

Have a look at http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/120078-completed-with-tutorial-ambilight-atmospheric-lighting-behind-your-tvmonitor/ I bought all the bits separate. Strip of 50 ws2801 leds and an arduino uno. Used plastic conduit to mount the leds to the TV. PS only works with the htpc as the uno plugs in via USB and htpc runs the boblight addon for kodi.

It's one of the 1.5tb boxes, the newer 2tb boxes also come in all black.

Leaving my sub unplugged for now, until I figure out how much of my movies the neighbours can hear

Rears:

I used the Mordaunt Short Aviano's as fronts (they're technically the rears from the set) because I couldn't fit the floorstanders/standmounts in my old house. Now I've got more space, I'll probably pickup the standmount Aviano 2s and move the bookshelves to the rear, freeing up the Wharfedale diamonds for stereo speaks in the garage or something.

I got a land line number when I signed up to my broadband, it's a really cool number! But I know I'm never going to use it lol, shame.

Third living room since this thread was made.

Setup now consists of:
Samsung 59" plasma
Denon 2312 AVR
Tangent Evo E34 fronts and matching centre
System Audio SubElectro 175 (custom paint/fabric combo to match the Tangents)
Scandyna MicroPod rear speakers
Apple TV
PS4 with mahogany/titanium wrap

Not a cinema setup, but I have made a small listening space at the top of the stairs using a 70's Sansui amp and my spare Tangent rear speakers.
Must say the Tangent's perform surprisingly well for their size and price.
Music is supplied via AirPlay by an Apple AirPort Express.

Not bad for a streaming setup made out of bits I had laying about tbh.

Your house is immaculate!! Very nice!

Is that an old Mac Mini or Apple Time Machine hiding under the side-board?
