with everything else on the car being cool as fuck its deffo worth the extra effort..

sometimes things like that are the differance between a nice car and a stunning car for me.. hence why i like rons and steves projects so much

I hear ya dawg...don't even know who's painting it yet I'll speak to the guy who did my Mazda as I can leave the car in the yard opposite whilst I take everything out, I'd rather not turn the car on whilst everything is disconnected, reduces any problems that way.

Ah It really isn't as bad as it sounds, there isn't much there so I can't see how it does anything, plus it's really quite loud inside anyway, if you are in 5th crawling up a hill you can barely hear yourself think it's such a deep exhaust note, I love it

John the cage will be white or body colour red, my 2 choice now, brakes are red with white writing that's a definite, so many jobs so little time and all jobs that require me not having the car so trying to find the right time

I mean how far are you taking the car, more of a track car than road car like hard core stripping it out etc.

Oh right, more of a track car really but it's used on the road alot more than track so a bit 50/50 I suppose. It's not a daily driver as such but if I do use it then what I've done doesn't really affect the useability of the car anyway. It's just a 2 seater car, reason I went for the rear cage rather than full is because it can be a nightmare getting into it anyway with the bucket seats never mind door bars to climb over too.
It's a very useable day to day car, I think this is alot down to the fact the car isn't trying to be something it's not, it was designed with this purpose in mind, it's just an amazing car tbh and I think everyone should own one at some point

I think the main reason I never bought one was the simple fact that the wife drives the car 80% of the time and the first time she would feel the back end of the car let go she would point blank refuse to drive it. It's a fact that the weather up here is a lot worse than down south so the roads will always be that bit more slippery.

Tbh I have had my moments, pulled out of Nandos yesterday quickly as a car was coming wasn't even on the accelerator and it just came out on me, nothing I could do other than turn into it as I was in 3rd doing like 20mph so no power! But other than that anytime the back comes out is because I want it too or I'm 'playing'. My missus is always asking to drive mine she loves it!

Everyone is different I suppose, if you ever get the chance Eck, then get one and just experience it

She would love to drive one and every time she sees one she makes love eyes at it lol but as soon as I said they are rwd it put her right off. She a good confident driver but it would scare her if or rather when it did kick out.

I would like a shot of one to see what all the fuss is about tho.

I suppose so my Mrs hates it when I get the back end out even just squirming under acceleration out of the bend has her reach for the nearest solid thing haha makes me laugh everytime! But she is too scared to drive the car like that so realistically will never happen but if it did I think she'd get scared. In the wet it's effortless to get the back end out but that's what TC is for I suppose.

You definetly do, you need a decent drive though so you can get an all round impression of the car, driving sensibly, driving quickly but not flat out, then flat out lol. I've owned the car a couple of months now and it still scares me tbh, I love it
