i think any weld in cage needs to be same colour as the car

just IMO thats all as its part of the bodyshell of the car

yeah dont see an issue with respraying the whole interior white with the cage either, just think an interior one colour and a cage another will look odd with a weld in cage anyways

The main reason for going white was so that it can be powdercoated as it will be alot stronger, if it's not getting powdercoated then it's definetly gotta be body colour

if it is tight then prime it before it goes in, should always be able to get round it though, if panels need changing etc

i still think it would be easier (for me) to spray the majority of the cage off the car then touch up any bits after

yes.... but trust me, you will still need to mask it just as you would if you did the whole cage. Thats why I thought you wanted to paint it before hand.

Painting the parts that will not be accesable (see my comments about lowering to get welding access) before hand is a good idea, just dont bother painting bits that will be getting welded, or near them. Just a waste of time and paint.
