It will obviously be their usual update strategy, a camera and probably iphone 4 hardware, it's the screen resolution I'm interested in, that would make the difference between me considering one or not.

I can't see it being any better personally. I think it's more iPhone 2g to iPhone3g than iPhone 2g to iphone 4

If that makes sense.

For the distance you hold the iPad from your face personally I don't think it NEEDS a res upgrade and I doubt one is coming this time.

Nice to have, but the screen looks fantastic already. Only thing I'd like to see is more RAM. Not bothered about anything else. Maybe a little lighter.

Needs a way better buffer so that it will:
Stream video from the net.
Be able to change tabs in Safari without having to reload the entire page.

Will probably also feature a FaceTime camera, though I honestly do not see the use of it.

i can confirm that macbook airs are the titty tits i bought one before xmas and the bird i was seeing over xmas bought an ipad

we'd sit int he lviign room and she'd alwyas end up nicking my air for web browsing etc and for itunes

You can do that, you have to download a thing off cydia called

Itunes sync for 4.x ( or whatever your firmware is)
