Hi I'm Robin. I've been a member of allcorsa for a while but thought I'd start a thread on here to show people my car

I got the car in Feb 2010 with 59k on the clock.

Now I know it's not perfect and it still needs some work but all comments, compliments and criticism are welcome

The only modification on it when I bought it was the Tigra alloys...











The first things I did were clean it, revive the black trim, debadge the doors, get FLI front speakers, kenwood headunit, blue interior dash LEDs and add M3 mirrors...











Then I properly heat gunned the bumpers to avoid having to ever use the horrible back to black spray, got some pressed plates, an exhaust tip (don't hate me lol) and a beesting aerial...







Then I debadged the boot...



I then installed a 3rd brake light, some astra side repeaters and some black angels...







I then did something that most people on here would kill me for...



And I also got some smoked side repeaters...



Then I got some number plate surrounds, a post 97 boot lock surround, post 97 front bumper and mesh debadged grille...





Then I colour coded it and unfortunately nobody seems to sell a good colour match for atlantis blue...







Then the car got lowered...



I installed some alpine 6x9s in the parcel shelf...



Then I got some 15" softstars



I then derubstripped it



Next was a tigra scuttle panel, chrome vectra door handles and an underseat tray







And to save the best until last, the most recent change to please you all...





I've done a few other little bits along the way such as derestricting and drilling the airbox but I've listed the main ones above

Future plans:

  • Backbox
  • Better halo angel eyes
  • Chrome bonnet gas struts
  • Plasma Dials
  • Spoiler
  • Wind deflectors
  • GSi 3 spoke steering wheel or similar
  • Plus a few other small bits and pieces

Yea but they needed respraying and at the time atlantis blue paint was all I had lying about lol. I will eventually spray them black but it doesn't really bother me to be honest.

Some old guy on Gumtree didn't realise what he had. They'd been in his garage for about 10 years after he took them off his old astra lol. I needed to get 4 new tyres anyway so I went and had a look at them and snapped 'em up as quick as I could

nah sold them to someone on allcorsa mate. didnt have the space for a spare set of wheels so as the softstars came in, the tigras had to go out

You're definitely onto a winner having a GSi over a 5 door now. Wish I had one! lol

I'm in honiton, it's about 15mins from exeter

They're both a GSi 3 spoke. First one is from a MK3 Astra Gsi and the second one is from a Corsa B Gsi.

I've already decided now that I'm going to try and source the Astra one so if anyone has one drop me a PM

Actually I think the Corsa one is from an SRi edition as the GSi ones are leather around the edges, not the same standard dimpled rubber stuff as the normal Corsa 2 spoke steering wheel.

the bottom one is a corsa b sri one

the corsa gsi one was leather not plastic

Picked up a few things on the bay over the last couple of days,

Vectra Interior Light

Plasma Dials

Clear Number Plate Light

Went and picked the number plate light up as the guy only lives down the road and I've already put it on my car Surprising how much the small things can tidy the car up!

Old vs. New with the number plate light (I'm getting a 9 LED white bulb for it soon):











Oh and I've got myself some different angel headlights. The type with the proper halo as opposed to the ones before that were just backlit by LEDs. And they came with a 6000k HID kit too
