Ordered genuine bumper, won't be using it I doubt but see what it's like! Not had any signal issues myself! Was close with that or the carbon fibre effect one!

Apparently the genuine bumpers rub the silver paint off the edges of the antenna with use.

 Er what silver paint? If there was silver paint over the antenna there would not be an issue with bridging the antennas because paint is not conductive (well unless you get special paint).
The whole problem is because its raw material they have exposed and not covered it

Im no apple design expert (neither are apple by the sounds of it  ) but reports are saying that the bumper 'marks' the antenna, maybe it scratches it or something.

People are reporting the bumper is getting grit in, then scratching the metal.
Is anyone using any cases other than the free ones?
Quite like the look of Incipio Silicrylic as i need something to protect the phone when im on site.
