u can yes, it has no benefits though. im trying to work out how to do it, nearly there but its nowhere near as simple as on petrol cars.
btw corsa td's can be tuned up really easily, mine sh1ts on 1.4 16v sports now, cost be 15 quid to do that.

So how much do you reckon i could get a dump valve fitted for then? And where does it? I will be buying a 1.5 TD next month for my first car. So it will sound like a turbo'd petrol car with the dump valve "hiss" ..... ?

how much isnt the question, its finding someone that knows how to do it thats the problem, ive had to work it out myself with help from others cos i cant find anyone that knows or will tell me how to do it.
it will sound more like a turbo petrol car if u do the mod i did and turn the boost up more, u can really hear the turbo then, oh and get a cone filter and full exhaust.

basically yes. there is a guy that makes em but he sells the kit for over 300 quid, but he wont tell me how its done, tried that already.

to do the tweek ive done, pushing out over 90 bhp now there is a guide in the tutorials section, very easy to do if u can turn a spanner.

Ok, so for the dump valve fitting its gonna be about 300 quid, well when it comes to it in may, maybe i would be able to meet up with you for some help on the above, i will pay for your time of course, or maybe you can put me in contact with the guy who supplies the kits for the corsa.

u see, the kit is made for a pug 306, not a corsa, but in reality it has all the parts u need.

300 quid is way to much money, thats 1/3 the value of the car.

Right, well if i keep in touch with you i would appreciate it, well i wont be getting the car until may 20th at the earliest anyway. So that should be about right?

Ok, so where do i get these kits from then, and how much will it kill me for?

If i brought the kit with me, and the car, would you be able to sort it if i paid u?

Or do you reckon it should be easy enough to sort on my own? Well my brother is a mechanic so i guess he might have an idea how to sort it all out if i gave him the tutorials etc?

when u say the kit, i assume u meen dump valve, never fitted one so ure guess is as good as mine. yeah bro will be able to do the fuel pump, i did mine and i knew nothing about engines when i did it. learnt loads on tuning td's since though. i have loads of tricks for these isuzu engines. havent done them all on mine yet but i will be disappointed if its not running at least 130 bhp when ive done it.

Probably is sad yes, but there again does that matter to anyone here?

Only asked for a little help and you have at first told me you are doing yours at the moment, and now your doing yours at some point.

Shame no1 here actually knows what there talking about eh! Would be nice to hear from someone with a little knowledge rather than acting like they do.
