right just had an c16xe engine put in to my 1.2 8v and having a few problems, engine starts then after about 30 seconds revs start going up and down then will eventually cut out and when i pull away i put my foot down and it just dies then i rev it hard then let clutch out it will go only does it when in low revs and when i put clutch in while driving it will either cut out or revs will go up and down nearly cutting out then eventually will cut out.

any help will be greatly appreciated thanks

In my opinion it would either be a vaccum leak or the idle control valve.

unplugged my lambda sensor and runs alot better only cutting out every now and then goin to get a full standard exhaust and try that

Have you tried the idle control valve yet?!
