Not sure, needs it though.
I think coilovers is the only real solution. Not sure if regular lowering springs will work well while it weighs less.
There's a guy selling some on Pumapeople, see what he says.

Yeah coilovers would be the better choice, considering what it's sole use will be. I still think the wheels should be a lairy colour though

my mates 1.7 puma is 40mm lowered on 17" after market rims.sits well and handles very nice

I've replied asking him which it is and now he's ignoring me 
Might just say I don't mind which, just don't bullshit me.
As if wiring hundreds of pounds wasn't worrying enough, without people pulling stunts like that.
Might locate a CS member to do the deal for me

Biggest problem with mine Mark is that it's mega high because it's lost a lot of weight. 40mm springs probably wouldn't bring it down much.

hes trying to sell them on ukfn aswell, had a project thread up and the coilovers were on the car a month ago, the project thread is now gone and hes saying hes only just got them

They wouldn't fit a Fiesta.
Just look for another set IMO, guy sounds like a messer. But coilovers are definetly the way to go. Springs aren't the way to go on something that's sole us it to be abused around a track.

we run lowering springs on standard dampers with it all stripped out and dont have many problems on SMOOTH roads likeon track Ian.

I still think the weels need painting though, try and make them look less standard.
