I know its great but when i bolt older stuff on it looks out of place, correct me if i'm wrong (not being sarcastic) i thought seem welds are a continuous weld and stitch weld is separate

Well got bit more done tonight, First off i found this link on the net about malt vinegar removing rust of arms etc (heres link http://www.cookhaus.co.uk/vinegar/index.htm ) So i took a trip to Asda

Cost me £8 with both brushes and a bowl, thats a bargin if it works

Next stage is to fill a bowl

Lower arm before

Now I'm leaving it over night to soak, hopefully i'll find out tomorrow if it works but for £8 if it doesn't its no real loss....

Then i started to tackle the last stripping part of the project which is underneath

Got exhaust off, all heat shields and loosened all the brake pipe connections, thats all for tonight

yeah sorry what i meant was seam welding as you have done with a contunious weld means in the event of a knock, pothole, or force, the impact from these will not reverbarate around the seem as there is no "give" in it so any impact will excert (sp) the force on the next weakest point

Are you putting some nice fresh paint on the underside or is that taking things a bit far?

This can also cause to cross members cracking, even in normal situations.
Speaking from what i know about novas.
