Shearer knocked him back, Cole did play for him and Fowler would never go to United.

Yeah, but my point is they have as much chance as being a 1 in 2 striker again as he does. His stats are so good due to his 18-24yr old time with us.

He really isnt the answer to a club that is aiming to win the league.

Roben is 11, so Ronaldo may well go for that.

9 is available but I expect a striker wil get that, both RVN and Benzema need numbers yet too.

I think it was only me saying it tbh.

I didnt expect him to give it up either, I expected the money machine that is both Ronaldo and RM would try to push the CR7 brand. If I was incharge and had little to no morals as Perez has then I would be pushing that brand to recoup my £80m.

RVN has had a serious injury and Adou Diarra also, that's just a R Madrid way of doing things, taking their number away.

My prediction is Benzema will get 10 as he wore that for Lyon, he put up with 22 and then got his favoured number of 10 season after.

He had 23 then changed it to 10. VDV then went for the 23.
