Ok i have paid, a decent amount for a CERTAIN! item, and the company is saying i MUST prove that i have paid for the item,

1)shouldnt they have to prove that i didnt buy it from them?

2) i paid cash into his bank, so i have no proof, i may have got a slip but that was well over 5 months ago so that would of gone into the bin !
( i literaly walked into bank gave them the acount details and the money and it went in, did not pay via card)

so were do i stand?
with a company that blates are fannying people around and down the wire, its all seeming to become a bit of a con !

any help please would be very much apreshated

problem being,
hello is dave a there,
aaah no he is out at the moment,
mention the word depo, and it a fucking joke.

now i would drive down there and literaly force the money out, but why waste 300 miles 40 on just gettin my money back ?

he said ill pay u back the way u paid me back

"ALL refunds will only be processed and re-paid in the same way as they were initially paid" i very much doubt he will go
into the bank and do what i did"

and dont even no if he is to be trusted with bank details

iv looked at my u2u's and saved all of dave a!

all iv got is

Thanks for being part of the group buy. To keep things simple as far as payment processing we will follow the same process as we have done with all of our other group buys, which is to take payments by bank transfer. This has proven to be the fastest, safest, most reliable payment method in all of the other group buys that we have organised.

How is a bank transfer done? Its simple, you can do it by 2 methods, if you have online banking then its as simple as logging in and sending the payment online. If you do not have online banking payment can be made by ringing your banks customer service line and making the payment over the phone or calling into your branch or any branch of HSBC bank and making the payment over the counter.

Here are the details you need:

Account Name: VSPORT
Account Number: 12140284
Sort Code: 40-43-24
Reference: YOUR USERNAME
Amount: 72 (covers the 60 for the lights and 12 for insured courier and packing)

It is very important that you use the correct reference otherwise It will be difficult to trace the payments back to the correct person. As soon as the payment is cleared and I have received it you will be sent a confirmation U2U message asking for your address and the lights will be sent out promptly. The success of this group buy relies on everyone making prompt payment and following the instructions, if you are unsure in any way about any of the above, let me know.

You can also use the invoice or receipt that any company must give you legally on receiving payment.

i also quote this from Dave A's own thread in the parts section on classified:

"The refunds are being processed by HSBC bank, not by ourselfes, we of course have info of who has paid and who hasnt but to keep it legal you must provide proof of payment.

Your bank can provide you with this if you request it. "

Does a business account mean a bank will process refunds

Sounds a bit strange does it not.

then in all fairness i dont really think theres much you can do, no proof of purchase, no bank statement, no confirmation payment is received. in a court you would not have a leg to stand on. maybe just cut your losses and learn a lesson and make sure people know about it.

i do believe you BUT if he says he did not receive payment then you have no proof? im just saying thats what it would look like to an outsider i.e a court.

dont ask for a refund then, ask for a credit note or something.

if he is trying to save his rep then he cant really refuse for the sake of 76 notes
