my car is kangarooing whilst holding the revs at a constant speed, under acceleration all is fine, the eml light is on for roughly 10 seconds or so then goes out.
the kangarooing stops (or is minimal) while the light is on. any ideas guys, btw ive tried new plugs / leads / coil pack. aslo it has a slight uneven idle when stationary
engine is x14xe

sounds like a misfire, tryed a crank position sensor?
