I wondered how long it would be.

Wasn't expecting it this soon though, that's only 3 months

bet it will shift too.

tbh, that is the only way of doing it with the VXR engine. COMPLETELY stripping the car and starting again.

forgot to add this will settle the debate about using a small block vs a heavy weight LET

as this is a small block 16v (i think??) turbo charged pushing roughly the same power as a let

Z16LEH would cost less than a Z20LEH
C16XE costs less than a C20XE

I mean to get the same output from a small block as a big block

cheaper to C20XE than get a X16XE to 155 bhp

cheaper to fit a LET than a corsa VXR engine

C20LET with an F28 would cost you about £1100, plus a conversion kit, that's another £500.

Z16LEH can use 2 standard mounts, standard shafts and is within 12bhp of the 20LET.

if you want to keep the 6speed box then it'll need custom mount's all round

for the money for the vxr being compared with a let, the vxr will be more or less a brand new engine whereas the let will be tired and need rebuilt/freshinging

Agreed - not that I know much, but I know it'd be better investing in a newer engine.
