Thats why you have to use a small block friction plate

A big block friction plate wont fit a small block box, because the plate hub has different size/number of splines.

You use a small block friction disc, which has the input shaft fitting for a small block box(obviously as thats what it came off)

sound's like you didn't try the right flywheel then...

im sure it a diesel fly, which will bolt to engine, and fit box's input shaft, then clutch to match box....

I disagree, I've seen a standard F13/15 gearbox deal with over 180bhp

Im afraid I went through 2 gearboxs (F13WR and F15) in less than a year I was running around 180bhp and 185lbs/ft Torque from a 1.6 8v Turbo. Im sure they'll cope with XE Power/Torque but its the low down Turbo Torque that killed mine.

i think using little gearbox's is a waste of time, use the correct box for the engine!!!!!!
