if you want to keep the 6speed box then it'll need custom mount's all round

yeah, but an F13CR will be fine

Was going to say that the LET is so popular because its the best

I very much doubt you could source and fit a VXR engine cheaper than you could buy a shitter £800 calibra and swap the engine

Chris Astley has proven that you can.

Engine - £1075 with 6 speed box, ECU, loom and everything else, 1300 miles
Mounts - Standard small block ones, one custom
Sell the M32 box and make some money back, stick with an F15.

LET

Engine - £800 in a shitter, with F28, 100000 miles and a leaky sump
New gaskets and belts - £150
Mounts and shafts - £500
Split the calibra and make about £200-300 back.

It'd work out at the same price, if not less for the Corsa engine.

FBW throttle can't be that hard to sort, if you look on Z22SE.co.uk, a few people have converted ITBs to FBW to use with a remapped ECU, using a few cheap parts from maplins.

probably using the loom and the fbw pedal out of the vxr in the nova tbh.
would be quite an easy swap then

Just means a bit of re-programming.

That Pete bloke has got an LS1 in an Astra, the ECU needed reprogramming so it didn't look for an autobox etc.

It's not that hard.
