Sounds the exsacly the same as my mate x16xe once he fitted the vx box his was leaking from every hole..Am sure it was leaking from TB it took a shit load of sealer to get it sealed,he ended up sending it back for a replacement.. I'd say air leak Shaun you tried spraying soapy water round all your vac pipes,vx box etc

Kev I could bloody kiss you Its fixed!!!!

I did exactly what you said, got a bit of soapy water in one of my spray bottles, started it up and sprayed it around the throttle body. When I sprayed it around the back it hissed! Popped the inlet off and ran a bead of sealant along the edge and its perfect again! Thanks so much for posting that tip mate, come see me and PVS for your free Ice cream/beer/coke

So now that its back running sweet I thought I'd better start getting it ready for the MOT. Just wound the coilovers up a bit so I dont have any hassle with the brake tester

After me tea I'm going to do all the usual checks then keep my fingers crossed for tuesday So happy right now!

Glad you got it sorted, I've had the same trouble with mine ever since I changed the engine and turned out to be an air leak too. Its an even better feeling when you fix than the first time you hear it run

Looking boss

Chuffed for you mate. I heard of quite a few people having issues with these, that's why I went for lexmaul, more to pay out but hold their value when time to sell
