I kind of get the idea of a box if its too big, but what about too small?

You usually get a punchier (sp) sound off the sub if it's a small box. It depend on thew power of you you're sub/amp output. I'm running a 1.0 on a 400w sub with 800w Amp and it works well


It depends what you're looking for but the smaller the better.

You might also want to pack the box with an old cushion o'r old overall o'r something to get it punchier/clearer sound. I put leftover of acoustic matting that you would put around the box.
