i own a 1999 1.4 16v corsa sport and the clutch is wearing thin so looking to upgrade.
got a pipercross viper, 4 branch janspeed exhaust manifold and decat pipe so upgrading engine gradually.
not scared for a little race now and again so looking for a performance cluctch but not nothing to awkwered to drive round nicely round town and general day to day driving.

standard clutch! but if in the future your going for serious power then upgrade

yea im in the middle of doing the engine up, getting an inlet manifold soon and headwork with cams so looking for a semi race clutch or full race clutch.
looking for advice on what to get???

mmm see id rather get a performance cluctch, save on the revs and sh#t, what are the black diamond ones like???
never heard anything about them, what others can people recommend???

i like the way you're completely ignoring everyones advise lol.
as long as you get a new standard one, let it run in and don't do too many 0-60 runs (ie dumping the clutch with loads of revs), then standard will be fine.
plus with all those mods you won't have to rev it as hard, so shouldn't need to upgrade unless you like bouncing off the limiter around town.

Torque kills things like clutches/gearboxes etc.
Being a 1400, torque output wont be massive.
So it will be fine.
Ive got a normal "motor factors" one on my 1600 16v, and its fine so far(they use the same clutches as a 1400)
