hello ppl, im after some ergent advice!
im trying to set up my gear linkage on my xe corsa but i cant get 2nd gear. which is the best way to set up the linkage? in neutral? reverse? 5th?

if you lift up the gaiter and hold the lever to the left there should be two holes on the left side of the stick that line up, put something in there to lock it in place, then try it. apparently...

in neutral and to the left.there is a hole for you to put a drill bit or small screw driver through to keep it in place

Need to have it in Neutral James.
I cut the rubber gaiter on the gear selector where you clamp on the linkage on mine. Makes it easier to distinguish 2nd and 4th.
