Agreed, he was a good buy for you.

i agree too, but if someone offers carrick money again i think spurs will sell,

and then it really will show lack of ambition

Spurs have no ambition, this is evident after the Carrick sale.

you mean the sale that funded the berbatov purchase

Definitely agree here If spurs had done this the big club may just have got a bit further in europe

what rubbish, we have done better in the cups since he left, beat chelski 2-1, did well in UEFA cup, carrick wasnt worth what we sold him for, plus its easier to replace him than get a good forward

Keep selling your best players and you'll eventually win the league then, great logic again

not like he wasnt replaced

FFS how hard is it to understand, Berb will be even better next season, carrick will be forgotten.

As Nismo said sold him for big profit and no spurs fan was angry he went.

No you seem to be misunderstanding, the big clubs that win things regularly do not sell their best players to their rivals, no matter the price you are shooting yourself in the foot.

surely seeing him win the premiere league in his first season makes him hard to forget though?

Hmm... but don't you ever wonder "what if" spurs had kept carrick as well as buying berbatov...

From manutd.com:

Steve Sidwell, who will be available on a free transfer at the end of the current campaign.

Bayern Munich star Owen Hargreaves continues to be the most likely arrival in the eyes of many, but reports suggest that his rising price tag will force United to look elsewhere.

Tottenham boss Martin Jol is adamant that striker Dimitar Berbatov is going nowhere, despite strong rumours linking the Bulgarian with Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge.

Meanwhile, the names of Spanish striker Fernando Torres, Portuguese starlet Nani and Welsh defender Gareth Bale continue to crop up.

So you got to 1 semi final and got beat by kids?

If you think Carrick isn't missed than you're deluded.

how about if you could choose between berb + carrick and berb + your defensive midfielder atm (forgot his name)
