I agree with that statement, Parent and Child bays are for people with their children (Although I parked in one once with my 4 year old cousin, got no bother) and Disabled bays are for DISABLED PEOPLE and bmw drivers apparently 
Think of it this way: You're not disabled so walking across a carpark is no bother to you, Are you telling me that disabled people should be made to walk large distances?
Maybe you'd be annoyed if YOU were the disabled guy....

Guy that used to work at our place his wife was disabled, but told us even when he went out on his own he would still park in disabled spaces & use the badge.
That used to annoy me, IMO that an abuse of a priviledge that isn't even his.

went to morrisons with my mum this morning, and parked in the parent and child spaces, as these where the only ones close to the door, couldnt see any problem with that

the only time i park in disabled/parent and child spaces are when it's dark outside and the car park is empty apart from a couple of cars. no harm in that.
whittie, just make a story up saying your invisible friend is disabled

That's just the typical attitude of a lot of younger people these days. No respect for other people. I think it's because 10-12 year old kids can get away with giving people with authority cheek now and they know there is very little that can be done. The problem is it comes out in more serious things than parking spaces as well

And then see what you say because i would not move my car for no fcker! but i have a child so i could park there anyways! but u need to chill out giving people shit infront of your children that really sets a good example! I only really go to supermarkets at night and then park in parent & child spaces as they are wider and usually never anyone in them at that time of night anyway.
I dont trust other people not to dent my car. I'd rather have someone have a go at me than some useless twat ram their door into the side of my car.
