latest updates include my modification to the rear brake compensater, which provides more movement by elongating the slot...


and rear bushes for the rear axle and new drum shoes, ignore they are sat low there just held on with cable ties ate the mo...

rear axle now fitted to the car and will be spraying spoiler this week at work

pics to follow

awaiting rear arb and need to order new rear drums and bearings to finish rear end of then just paint both bumpers and thats it for exterior

finally got around to ordering my drums and painting them and have had my -90mm springs powder-coated black again, i would have had them done red but cos its through work it was free so cant complain





next to come is fit the parts and order my rear arb and spray the two bumpers at work

more building,

primed and prepped the front bumper as it got damaged bein sat around and a light door fell on it and caused a couple of hairline cracks in the lacquer so thought id freshen it up with some new paint.....


next fitted all the rear brake shoes and hubs and bearings etc etc together








then fitted the strut brace


next to follow is,

whiteline arb
spray both bumpers
bleed the brakes
tidy up the rear of the interior

sadly not m sutton i cant afford to get the painting done in time....

what would ur place charge mr sutton for 2 bumpers and gsi spoiler, or if u could do them lol????

i spray my stuff at work usually in our spray booth but just ent got the time dude.........

small update, cut my mesh from B&Q then had it powder-coated black, i think it will look good as ive always had normal aluminium mesh..

ordered some new wheel bolts and locking nuts as all my wheel bolts are rusty and locking wheel nuts were wearing out....





am spraying my rear bumper friday so more to come soon..

mate that car looks the absolute bollocks, its being done to an amazing standard. i want it lol.........

and you say that your progress has been slow because youve been doing your kitchen then you paint your drums and springs on the side lol youve either got big balls or a forgiving mrs lol

Good progress, looks spot on with the black mesh aswell really tidy.
Am i right in thinking that rear bumper is quite rare? or is it a custom jobby?
