well yesterday i finally got my new suspension, now it has viered away from my origional plan which was to purchase brand new shocks and springs, but as my friend luke has split his corsa he has the same shocks as i was gonna buy in very good condition and he's running irmscher springs not eibach but if i dont get on with irmy ones at front ill buy some eibachs.

so for the price im well chuffed so i can finally build the front end up on the corsa over next few weeks.

today i got around to changing the track rod ends and fitting the front struts and strut brace.

the track rod ends were bitch to remove, 9 years of corrosion and bashed knuckle lol but got both done, the front strut brace was not easy to fit either not sure if its the best brace for 2ltr but its on now.

next will come more of front underside rebuild. OPOLOGIES FOR the photo's think was using wrong setting on my camera.

just a thought, if you got a couple of p-clips, and modded them to hold the throttle cable so it stays where it is and at the same time holding it off the cam gear cover and rocker cover....

yesterday afternoon after pulling the door rubber back i spotted small amount of rust forming behind it, so i got straight onto it with jenolite rust remover and then coated it in this horrible beige coloured rust remover/treatment and primer all in one, after this i rubbed it down and gave it a small lick of paint but im not overly bothered on the finish as you cant see it when the interior is in....

the got around to building up the underside which comprised of lower arms/tie bars/hub carriers/ball joints/tie rods/anti roll bar and then tighten it all up and make sure it was all sound etc.

next brakes and paint front bumper and scuttle panel then turn car around start on the rear which should not take long as hoping for it to be at pvs.
