I'm not sure about the bonnet Carl, I think it might ruin the car

i also am not 100% sure robin but tbh my bonnet was starting to rust undernieth and was only a matter of time before it came through to the top and that would be 150quid to repair alone at least.

least with the carbon one ive ditched a few kg's and it wont rust lol and no hassle, but we shall see dude.

and tbh i dont care what it looks like now sole purpose of the bonnet was to ditch some front end weight really.......

worst comes to the worst i could spray the carbon one and it would be none the wiser to anyone lol

here is update on things done up to date.......

well yesterday i got around to fitting my carbon bonnet and some bonnet pins which to be honest was a pig to line up but there done now.....

yesterday i removed the the karnage spoiler from my gsi spoiler and started filling where it had been...

then primed it ready for spraying...

then i have been prepping the rear bumper, and finally after repairing the stress cracks etc in it and cutting new number plate hole it is prepped and primed ready for some paint...

was in halfauds and found these in the bargain bin 1.98 each

then started doing the rear brake shoes....

and after 18 months the car has not been cleaned just bin sat under a cover so i washed and polished it....

here is an update.....

well last week i decided to remove the door handle as the bodyshop obviously could not be bothered to do a proper job and remove them from the car like you should and they just painted them on the car such a bodge and the paint had stated flaking on the underside so i removed them and gave them a fresh lick of paint....

here is them fitted back on the car...

have to say people said its fiddly to remove door handles i found it a piece of piss lol....

anyways after that i fitted some halfauds washer jets to my bonnet

then i decided to fit a standard scuttle with my bonnet so here it is fitted along with my single wiper.............

after fitting the door handles back on i could re-fit the door cards on the interior....
