As you can tell by the above pics, my camera was a bit fucked. Turns out there was loads of dust on the lens, cleaned it, and what a difference

Welding will hopefully be getting done next week, and starting my mechanic apprenticeship soon, so some money will be coming in to get it on the road

Quite a bit of progress since the last update, just little things.

First of all, I fited a Punto rear wiper:

Before:

After:

Then I got a new rocker cover, and painted it up caribic blue:

Before:

Fitted, with chrome bolts from ebay:

Lastly, I bought a rare corsa dash mat:

Got the sound deadening for under the bonnet too, will be fitting that today.

Starting my new job on monday, so will have plenty of cash to get the car onn the road. Plans before December:

  1. Get the welding done on the crossmember & rear arches
  2. Do the front and back brakes, and handbrake cable
  3. Underseal the whole car
  4. Modify my GSI manifold to fit, fixing the blowing exhaust at the same time
  5. Fit my 1.8 TB, 1.6 Inlet, 1.4 Injector and GSI Cam.
  6. Get the rest of the Sport interior
  7. Try and find a GSI front and skirts

After all that is done, doubt I will do any more to it, will be the last of it.

Aye, it would indeed.

Not much to update, was thinking about selling it, but I think il stick it out and finish it.

Ordered some material etc to re-trim my door cards, then all I need is the sport rears, then the interior is complete.

Still need to find someone to weld it, my brother wont do it now, bastard

Hes had a change of heart, took much fucking persuasion, but we are going to use his shitty welder to put the crossmember on, then get it through to his work, where we can get the kick ass welder, and get it all done right.

So, with this good news, and payday coming soon, I bought loads of shite for re-trimming my doorcards, and Im getting a sebring 6x4 backbox on thursday
