I was extremely pissed my insurance company wouldn't insure -40mm drop and stainless steel back box, so, I got myself a Cat 1 Toad ai606 alarm off eBay, £219.99 fitted, at my house.

Lovely jubbly.

That is all for now, until September anyway, when I renew

lol my insurance company is Zurich though - they didn't even know if the back box would be performance enhancing (I told them it wouldn't be ) so don't think they're into the whole modding thing. I they didn't charge extra for my alloys but I did tell them they were Vauxhall ones, which, technically they were. And would have been an optional extra when new.

pow - I look forward to seeing your car at PVS!

No idea then - I didn't even have the alloys fitted then ask like someone suggested. Might have something to do with that I already have a policy with them and dad is a very good customer.

Not how things should be in this world, but how it is.

True but even so, my dad is with them and so is my sister and was when she owned my car and she never had any problems declaring the mods.

Only minor update, didn't want to create a whole new thread in GC.

Washed and polised the car today. The roof was beginning to lose colour (i.e. heading flame pink) but after 2 lots of AutoGlym Super Resin polish, the colour is much better

EDIT: Pics are shocking because it was a last mintue thing, and was only on a 2mp phone camera. Believe it or not, the first pictures were only taken with the side lights on.

No. Phone camera, holding it low down, with Night Mode on.

Thanks for the comments
