haha lowering kit I would love, more power I would love. That means more money with regard to paying for it, and the insurance hyke. Doubt it'll happen on this car. Got it how I want it now.

Taaa Daaaaaa!
Turns out the steel wheels were 5inches wide, same as the Softstars, straight swap. I am so happy now, never thought I'd do anything to my car 
So what's next?
- Wash
- Debadge
- 28cm Vauxhall aerial on order
- May be spray the boot handle - things like that will be in the summer when I have time and the whether is nicer.
Then I'll be finished, for now.
And look at what has turned up outside my house. It's bit of a pig really. Front alloys stick outside the arches, so obviously not ET49. On the lip of the bonnet it is rusting, and the lights are leaning back - looks as if had a front ender at some point. Strange light green side repeaters too.
Thanks to FlameRedCorsa (Alex) for u2uing me about your bro's Softstars - so glad I went for it now  and was good meeting a Corsasport member.

Looks SO much better with the softstars.
Glad you like them and really happy that you didn't have to pay any extra on the insurance for having them on. Your car looks so good now, reminds me of mine a few years back!!!
Yeh definately needs a wash, mine is crying out for a wash, too lazy

The back to black has faded so quick - it's the salt and wet roads that does it. Also wind screen wash.

I found that autoglym bumper care was awesome for black arches and bumper inserts, so much better than back to black.

Looking good mate. Use Auto Glym bumper care it works much better i think.
Alloys look good *Jellous*  How did you manage to get those scratch marks or whatever it is on the tyres ? Some tyre blackening would be good as well.
It's coming along very well indeed. Just a few subtle adjustments - debadge etc... - and it will be great

Jay - no idea. It is pretty much standard apart from alloys, side repeaters and exhaust trim. Very much doubt anyone on here. Also has child seats.
Alex - because I didn't spend £55 on my insurance, I plan to spend a bit on car care, so might just get some of that.

Thanks I am actually really happy with it now. . .may be just lower 40mm and I'll be done. That will be a long way off though.

Looks amazing on those rims mate!!! Get it dropped... -40mm springs (or even nova springs) would not break the bank... thats next on the list for me. Gunna use nova springs so i dont have to tell the insurance company

Well, car was in need of a clean. So first I took the plunge and completely debadged it so glad I did, it looks much better. All there is to come now, is a shorter aerial, then I'm done for the time being, especially as my PC monitor has just died - currently using 2nd hand laptop, anyway, here are the debadged results.
I found the GLS glue hardest to remove - they are the only ones which have shown a sign of fade BUT it has faded under the badge, not around. Under the badge it is a light orangey red colour but you can't see it unless close up against it. I plan to t-cut and polish when I have more time & the weather is better.
The rear badges came off much easier and without much fade.
So then I was bored, found a quiet spot and did what any proud Corsa owner does. . .take some arty pics!
there are a few more in my garage. I feel that the car has come a long way - now I'm happy with it and it's a bit more individual.
In the ideal world, I'd love to get rid of the pea shooter, lower, get the alloys refurbed and the ultimate dream will obviously be to get rid of the 12v lump but I hope to go on to bigger and better things after Uni so this will do for now.
