i will be using this when i get my 4-2-1 manifold
it does help to keep heat in the exhaust but mainly away from intake it really only works on hi-spec engines but looks cool as well

Wouldnt bother TBH. The heat off the manifold cant escape and it will cause the manifold to crack.

mine hasnt cracked

i used some of the fibreglass bandage type stuff...... fookin stinks when it warms up tho.....

it won't cause the manifold to crack it keeps the heat in the exhaust aiding performance and accelaration, call aldon automotive in brierly hill they'll tell ya mate

when i got my mild steel one from ashley he said dont use it because it will cause the manifold to crack and we wont garuntee it if you do.

erm...its really only designed for stainless.....or so i was told
