Been building this car last 5 months first outing at Croft at the end of December cant wait!

Cars still got standard engine until i get more money together plan is to get it on TBs cams and management.

1.6 16v still goes ok but will need more horses to try and get competitive.

It makes a hell of a difference , same question was on Migweb my advice is dont get one for road use ATB is the best way to go.As for price around £550

Well ive done three events with the standard engine finished Croft twice in the middle of the class so not to bad for car spec.Had to retire from North West stages with fuel leak and a little damage (easy fixed.)

Next event is at Swinderby near Lincoln on the 29th April and a few things are getting sorted.

The suspension is being changed to 2 1/4 with 270/120 inserts and 250lb 12" springs.
Cars going to AAS to get 2" tubular manifold made and fitted upto a Magnex 2" SS backbox.
Then its going for Jenvey TBs and Omex management to be fitted to standard engine while i build the spare one with cams,arp,sbd rollers and a little headwork.

Will get some pics up of exhaust and TBs in a couple of weeks cant wait to see how it goes

A quick update

22/04/07 Mapped car with TBs and exhaust trying car out put rod through block (std motor with 100k)

24/04/07 Got a scrapyard engine in and running for Wednesday

Competed at Swinderby on the 29th 95 cars 22 in my class (1600) finished FIRST!!!!! and 23rd overall.

New engine getting SBD cams , verniers and billet flywheel (cheers FoyBoy) ARPs and alloy rollers. Got big billies to go on rear (cheers Kenny) sorting few bits out ready for next event at Albermarle barracks in July.

Cant be arsed with pics but im sure you get the idea, lots of money but a huge grin at the min.

Drax i dont mess about but its getting bloody exspensive!! The rally pics will follow i hope to get some nice airbourne ones at Otterburn later in August.
Butler i took a calculated risk thinking one more event with that engine but it didnt pay off literally LOL.

Thanks for the comments will keep this updated as and when i compete.
