Well cars ready for the weekend cant believe we finished the last one when car was checked the rear wheel we hit had bearing collapse and the front offside uniball bolts were loose.
Anyway wasn't happy with the brakes so put this setup together. Big thanks to Alan at AS Performance and my mate for machinig the mounts at short notice. These brakes are on a standard m/c with drums on the rear and work great only thing i am thinking is to go rear discs for the hydraulic handbrake as with sticky tyres it does not want to move.

Subaru WRC rear calipers
280mm bell mounted Brembo discs
Pagid blue pads

Next event Otterburn Ranges this Sunday

Will find out this weekend and comeback to you if he is interested. Will these run with standard lifters? and i assume a 2mm cut out on pistons.

designed to work with hyd lifters. they will go in without pocketing but you wont get optimum cam timing.

Our day wasn't to good as we snapped gear linkage on 1st stage leaving us with 2nd and 4the for the first 4 stages. Got it replaced with spare one but got 14 min penalty.
So do we stay or go? well decided to stay and have a laugh to the finish knowing that Garry was now going to get the 1st in class Tarmac in the Kent Cams. BUT he blew it big time and went off which is pretty much the norm for Garry sorry mate but you should have played it cool and got the finish.

Thanks to the 205 guys who pulled over no problem every time with us running at the back.

So still not 100% but we might have 1st in class in the Kent Cams Tarmac 1600 class have to wait and see.

Quick update car now has F13/15 SCCR Quaife kit fitted with 4/5 SC cwp. Lightend flywheel and AP paddle clutch. Tried it on axle stands and all seems ok so far.
Changing pads from RS2 to RS5 pagid blues as i have killed them in two rallies, thinking of changing to Dot 5.1 or SRF fluid as i only use Dot 4 because i get it for nowt.

If all is ok with car after January getting new paint job and decals as Pirtek are changing their colours.

Getting car ready for Jan 13th at Croft.

can you put any brakes onto a car if you get the mount correct for the caliper to the car part?

Pretty much as long as wheels clear and the mounts are manufactured from good spec alloy.
