Hi, Ive got a 1.6 16v running on a FSE fuel pump (in tank retrofit)

it runs a little rich IMO, its a little sooty around the back, ive replaced the lambda sensor as it was rattling inside and bringing the EML on, thats all fixed now and no longer does the light come on.

could the uprated pump be overloading the standard FPR?

Whats going on?

thanks
Shane

pump can run as much pressure as it likes. its the pressure regulator that determines the pressure on the fuel rail.

true, but could the extra pressure be over-loading the FPR?
