Went to the Scottish Mondeo Forums RR day at Falkland Performance centre.

Had a bit of a chat with Kevin and told him about last weeks results at Dastek..

Kevins rollers are usually spot on, 3 times the T4 has been on there now...

Last weeks at Dastek

Something strange there losing 25bhp from the standard 200???
175.1bhp and 181.0lbf.ft torque, low reading...

Car feels good on the road no real flat spots and deffo doesn't feel 25bhp down..

Kevin gave the car a run today and result.

Which is more like it still 4 bhp but not bad...

196BHp and 215.6lbf.ft torque..

Thats the kind of result I was expecting....

Opinions etc...

Think something went wrong at Dastek last week on my run...

Funny thing at Dastek when I came off the rollers the ABS / traction control light wasn't on like usually happens once I come off..All other times car has been on the rollers the ABS/Traction control light has been on except at Dastek????

anyway happy bunny again

but what does this prove?

a) dastek rollers are fubarred
b) Falkland performance rollers are fubarred

So its abit of a given fact that your DV/aircone is causing a loss?

both graphs have something dodgy going on at 4k

wheel readouts can differ depending on the gear they were done in, but the fly is based on the drag curve which is exponential to the wheel reading so will be correct whatever the gear

Phone Paul at Dastek (think its Paul) - he is very good at detailing why etc.

I'll go dig up a thread he posted on SIDC expalining some results.... its a long thread.

Dastek rollers do tend to be more conservative too.
