Well its time to get things moving and get set for Donny show.

Finally got all my parts off to the bodyshop and progress has begun, few sneaky shots for now:

Any Irmscher lovers.......... LOOK AWAY NOW!!!

Wing smoothed and primered:

Ordered some more goodies to finish the finer details off but they won't be seen until nearer completion.

No rear toe eye cover, that'll be a bumper off if it needs towed out of anywhere then! Suppose its only a few bolts to get it off like, lol

Will be very tidy when this is complete. I like this Corsa

Hopefully as good looking as you Matt then i'l be happy!

As for the rear towing eye..... I have never ever used it so far and I see the only time I'l ever need to use it is if I crashed it. Then think that would be the last of my worries.

why do "professional" bodyshops use P40? bridging filler

when will people learn that p40 is not a substitute for the real thing; it wont adhere properly and will probably fall out; I would strip the paint back and key the surface - then fill the gap with a high density two-pack foam before laying 1 layer of 300gsm CSM; 1 7" stip of 400gsm bi-axial and then another 300gsm CSM: finally a surface tissue and NO FILLER!

all in all, your car will look though

It just annoys me - I can understand fully an amateur doing it in their garage or shed; but not a "professional" bodyshop!

I also dont like when shet metal is used to smooth out a grill section - and the back of the metal plate isnt painted! Rust galore

This is by far the only bodyshop I would use around my area, done alot of previous work for me and alot of mates never any complaints or bad work.

I'm happy with his workmanship maybe not the way everyone would do it I agree but seems to work, and work well.

Thanks for comments everyone.

Going to see it for first time on Sat will get a few more pictures some stuff is staying secret until its done though.

Just can't wait to get it back or atleast see it in one piece again
