If the plate is illegal then it will fail. Not a hard concept to grasp.

if you go to the right garage they wont care but if not get some normal ones made up or put your old ones back on.

the plate has to be readable from 25meters i would prob pass that plate and advise that a small plate was fitted but was readable from 25m

is cant fail there is a part that says italic type font is not a reason for rejection as long as it can be read
