Quick question, does the C20XE engine have a Map Sensor or does it use the vacuum advance diaphragm?

Right ok, so it doesnt have a MAP sensor. Just wondering what this thing is at the side of the intake manifold. It has a plug underneath which attaches to the loom and so far has 1 tube going from it to the back of the throttle body. Looks like there should be another tube coming from it
Theres a photo of it if anyone could help?

its a fuel tank vent valve. should have 1 pipe going to a vaccum i.e the inlet manifol vaccum and 1 to the charcoal canister inside the drivers side wing.

Cheers matey, yeh one is already going to the inlet manifold vacuum. Can you actually see this canister or is it hidden down behind the wheel arch? If it is then i presume the other connecting pipe is still inside the corsa engine bay

probably still there. if you remove the arch liner you will see it up behind the side repeater. the pipe that comes from it is a hard plastic pipe about 4mm in diameter
