Luigi didn't you have this problem a few months ago with a pair of strikers that came to the club? You seem to be still getting the games so imo the manager must see something in you. Just keep on working hard and don't stop running your ass off

We won 1-0 yesterday. I scored in the 60th minute with a 1on1 with the keeper and a neat little top-poke into the bottom corner of the net. BOOOOYEAH!!

Played 11 in the league, won 8, lost 2.

Not too shabby.

We drew 3-3 against a side we should be winnig, slopey pitch and windy, (had grass on unlike ours though!) Got on for the last ten minutes and did what i was asked to do, the manager was impressed which was good. the other 2 subs did fuck all.

Yes Dave incredibly Hopefully signing up 2 new players tomorrow tho, deadline is Jan 31st. Both young, one played for us last year and doesnt stop running, excellent centre mid and the other a tricky winger. Still in 2 cups aswell so not all doom and gloom but of all the games weve lost only one has been in a good way if that makes sense. In the others we go 1 down and then its like we just give up.

Scored a cracker with 2 mins to go against Midhurst but one of our players was offside and deemed fiddling with play Would have been my 3rd goal for Wick in 7 games from central midfield.

Nik I wish our central midfielders would score more. They have a grand total of 1 between them this season

Maybe I should come and play for you Still not 100% fit, season has been stop start after I moved clubs end of October Hoping to break into front side by end of the season and be a regular next year. Pitch is looking perfect at the moment, has circles cut into it

you wouldn't like our team full of nobs who think they know best and don't give the manager any credit for what he does.

One of our central midfielders is quite big but he is scared of challenges ffs

seriously mate he's a badger

If people are worried about getting hurt they shouldn't be playing Sunday league imo. I hope someone crunches him with a nice 2-footed tackle, hopefully it'll knock some sense into him.

Been pretty lucky with injuries actually. Damaged some knee ligaments about 6 years ago which at the time looked like my cruciate (thankfully it wasn't) - I was back playing within 3 weeks I think!

About 4 seasons ago I strained my thigh badly which kept me out of action for about 6 weeks (need physio from club).

Saying that I'll probably go and break my leg on Saturday now

Don't say that Nik

Someone stood on my foot twice on Sunday. I told him if he did it again I'd smack him He didn't do it again.

Worst injury I've had was 2 weeks ago when I fell and my knee landed on someone's studs (they'd also fallen over). Twisted it and bruised quite badly. All ok now though

Not really an injury but I did have to come off in a game against Brackley Town after being elbowed in the head by Mike Ford (ex Oxford/Cardiff/Swansea). Didn't even realise until I taste blood The tea ladies towell will never be the same..

I remember last season we played a game and the conditions were horrible. Sleet, hail etc.. freezing cold it was.

We kicked off and after about 2 minutes of play someone kicked the ball straight at my face I managed to turn around so it hit me in my jaw, couldn't move it after that and I thought I might have broken it

2 days later I was fine

I agree with you to some extent...

we have players in our team who seem to be made of jelly. Really prone to injuries even from the slightest of knocks/kicks.

I have taken a beating before and been fine, never usually pull any muscles either (though I did last week when I didn't warm up properly).

Strange.
