we won 8-1 our biggest ever victory.

I should of scored 5 but managed 2 had some piss easy chances which i should have put away but instead opted to score a 25yd volley as well as take on the defenders and the goalkeeper for my 2nd

We're 5th now with quite a few games in hand

for some reason, I fluff the easy chances, or those chances where I have 'too much time'. If I need to take a quick shot or take someone on then I'll usually score

Like on Sunday with the volley, defender headered clear and it was dropping. I didn't think about it, just hit it. I've got quite a good shot on me and it flew straight into the corner

I thought I did quite well considering I fluffed 2 or 3 earlier chances. I could of let my head drop and let it effect my game but didn't

We have the same team again on Sunday, happy days.

well dave, i only have 1 BUT. ive played an estimated total of about 3/4 full games of pitch time. 2 of which i was right back and 2 right midfield.

so atm im at 1 goal in 2 appearances

(shoulda had 2 but defender handled on line and ref didn't have the balls to give it lol)

1 from those positions is pretty good though our centre back is our top scorer he comes up for corners and takes the penalties

not too bad i'd say. as RB i stayed in my own half pretty much the entire time as im crap in the air so didn't go up for corners etc.

as RW i tend to attack the box as an instinct and the other weekn wen 4-1 down we pushed right up so i was playing like ronaldo does for man u, right up the pitch. was great

Im making my come back this coming Sunday. Probably play for the 2nds for a couple of weeks to get some fitness back. Although TBH I prefer playing for the 2nds. Much better group of lads than the 1st team. There is hardly any banter with firsts though with 2nds the banter in the dressing room is immense. Puts you in a great frame of mind for the match.

I love playing left back although im right footed. Ive decided I dont really have a position I can and do play everywhere.

i don't like defending. think ive got that young lad mentally where i wanna be involved and score goals. plus im really good at crossing etc so on the right im not half bad.

wish i had more pace tho

sounds like you're doing well mate

I used to be the same. Our squad is a mixture of new players (like me) and older players from another team that folded a few seasons ago.

I got 10 minutes in the first game and have played every game since then

our place in the hall we usually go to to play football has been taken and the woman who runs the place is being a tit about it. We've decided to go running instead but I can't see people wanting to run in this weather like you said.

I have had 2 main positions this season, Striker and left mid. When I play up front I tend to drop very deep as I see more of the ball and like holding up play and distributing etc...
