my standard vauxhall alarm keeps randomly beeping, beep, beep, then going off for 2 seconds, then stopping, then going off again, and staying on, basically its going cuckoo for no reason.
also beeps and has went off twice when driving recently!
WHATS WRONG WITH IT?!?!?
help, had to park it under my window so i can turn if off when the siren goes off

its common for the backup batterys to die and cause the alarm to go mad a lot of the 2000-2002 astras suffer from it

check fuses etc?
i've got some shocking wiring in my fuse box.... instead of a fuse in slot 18, which is meant to be central locking, alarm etc i've got a wire with in-line fuse going to slot 11 (air con iirc... but i don't have ac).
tried sticking normal fuse it, central locking went off and alarm wouldn't stop until i put the dodgy wiring back in.
also does anyone know anything about these remote locking kits you get from vaux for installing? mine has got one and it doesn't work (i guess this being cause of crazy wires)

You can grab a Toad AI606 on Ebay for just a tad over a oner (inc delivery), worth the investment mate.

I bought mine through this seller, top notch. You get the fitting instructions if you feel brave and got the Haynes Manual handy.
