After months of this problem i have realised that it only happens when it is raining 
So does anybody know why this is happening the dizzy cap and everything at the top end of the engine is bone dry. Could the crankshaft positioning senor be getting wet?
Any help would be much appreciated

maybe not that same at all but when i had my first corsa it used to have problems starting in the wet. I pulled the ht leads out and put wd40 where the spark plug is and it used to work ok
