i had my car all working fine on friday and then i never started it up all weekend untill monday but it wouldnt start and the ignition lights were on but no keys in it and when i fianly got it started as i went to turn it off i turned the key and pulled it out but everything was still running and ticking over with out the keys in it so i had to disconnect the battery to get the engine to go off... any 1 know what the hell this could be ?

Why don't you just stall it to turn it off?

is it easy to change an ignition switch and do u think this would sort out the problem?

dead easy take the shroud off, unclipp the wiring plug and pull off the switch get new one and put it back together
