Not a problem as such, More of a sound. It's done 50k.

Sounds like a diesel when it's started Any ideas?!

camshaft ussually make it rattle does it do it more when its revved

My 1.0 sounded like a diesel after 24k miles hmmm

at 50k the timing belt deffo needs replacing. could be cam lifters, lack of oil

Its a timing chain and its defo a problem in them that gets fixed if you take it in.

What year is yours?

Beacuse they solved it at 2001 i think?
Just phone vauxhall and give them your chassis number, they should be able to tell you if your car is part of the recall

my sisters is a 53 plate and that was one with the fucked timing chain!

you should of had a letter through the post about it

oh yeah true! didnt think of that, get in touch with them and ask if they got a letter of anything, if not just pop into your local vauxhall
